So I’ve decided to take part in a little blogging challenge called Project52. What is Project52 you ask? Well the direct quote from their site describes it as this:

Project52 is a personal challenge geared toward getting fresh content on your website. The goal is to write at least 1 new article per week for 1 year. Because we all know what it‘s like to procrastinate on our content. A website is not just a fresh design that can be uploaded to the web and forgotten about!

This is a pretty aggressive undertaking for me since I just blogging once a month is hard for me. Right now I am 3 weeks behind so over the next few days I will catch up with the rest of the Project52 bloggers. I have been meaning to blog more and have been emailing myself topics, links and ideas that I need to follow up on when I get the time. Unfortunately, blogging seems to be the last thing on my list to do when I get home from work or on my day off. Sleep and MW2 rank up there pretty high, blogging….not so high. But I do have a lot to say and a lot on my mind so challenging myself to 52 weeks of blogging might actually do me good. If I can dedicate myself to this, hopefully I can do the same with my diet and my gym regiment.

So stay tuned each week for the next year since you don’t want to miss out on the adventures, ramblings, rantings and miscellaneous utterances that are to come.

Its that time of year boys and girls where we all (try to) gather with family and friends to celebrate a holiday of some type.   Be it the Jews and their Hanukkah/Chanukah, the Christians and their birth of Christ or even the African Americans with their Kwanzaa. I’m sure Im leaving out a race/creed/religion or culture but that’s ok, since honestly none of your piddly celebrations mean anything in relations to Christmas.   Yep I said Christmas, but what you dont understand or maybe you do is that Christmas is NOT what it use to be, hell its not been the christian holiday of choice in many many years. Its a commercial holiday and as such its a time to celebrate what you have in your life, but its also a time to GET A LOT OF STUFF YOU DON’T NEED. Think about it; ties, socks, underwear, miscellaneous crap, you can get those yourself all year, but come Christmas your kids, neighbors, co-workers all stand in long ass lines to get you something you don’t NEED or honestly really want, but its the THOUGHT that counts. Right?

Saw this last night and watched it a few more times tonight will working on a Magento install (we keep getting calls about it might as well learn the product customer want to use.)  We have a few aspiring film makers in our ranks and I feel like we should do this one night when we get REALLY slow.
